Providing consultancy and training in the area of mental health - especially in relation to carers' issues This is a temporary website while my original is being 'revamped'! I was a teacher and education adviser for thirty years. I became a I began campaigning to make services more accountable. Through involvement in local, regional, national and international organisations I began speaking and developing training with mental health services. My aim is to ensure that all carers of those who use mental health services are respected, valued and supported for the unique contribution they can make to their own recovery and that of those they care for. Two of my most recent roles have been as Carer Involvement Lead for New Ways in Working In Mental Health and as a member of the implemetation team for the new Mental Health Act - both national roles with the Department of Health.
